T. Scott Designs was created and began business in the Fall of 1995.  That was the year I began sculpting gargoyles and dragons called Comp-U-Gargs®.  And for seven years, up till the spring of 2002 we have made and sold over 140,000 statues.  

Then in the summer of 2002 I felt the need to change directions somewhat.  Not knowing what was going to happen or where to go I simply tried to free up myself from my ego and see what came out of the clay.  A few days later I had sculpted my first Celtic Cross.

The knotwork on the piece was very simple compared to some, but even so it was excruciating to figure out.  I began to study more and more knotwork patterns, trying to figure out how they wove themselves in and out - always connecting back to the place they started.  It took several months of study and practice before the art of making knots became second nature.  In fact as I look back on it now, knot making was extrememly difficult until I recognized the reflection of the knots in my life, noticing the reflection of how they actually described the day to day events that where unfolding around me.  Everything comes back to the beginning.

It was sometime shortly after the this that I got a "message" so to speak from inside.  It seems I am suppose to create statues that are more than just physical objects.  The message I got was for me to create something more like Talismans.  Something that carried a signal, a vibration of goodwill and of love. A message that God is always with us. There is no separation. We are all children of the spirit.

Not having any earthly idea how to do this I began talking with friends and teachers - my spiritual mentors.  The people who had a clearer vision of the energy world that lies unscene, all around us.  These teaches have helped and guided me immensly.  Helping me to open up parts of myself that would enable me to place a vibration inside my work.

The vibration inside all my work carries the signal of my intent. My signal, or prayer if you will, is that you find your connection to the "All that IS" and through that connection you gain the courage to bring forth whatever gifts you brought with you into this life -- sharing them with the world. Truely sharing your gifts with the world puts you on your path. It releases the God Self within you. And allows the spirit to flow through. I believe it's why we came.

Ever wondered what your gift is? I found that many times it's what you really want to do, but for one reason or another, you haven't done it. Perhaps you believe you don't have the money, or you don't have the skill, or the confidence, or the support, or the etc. etc. etc. Funny thing is, once you give in and start everything you need shows up, and what doesn't show up usually turns out to be what you "thought you needed", not what you really needed. You rediscover the joy of the "journey", instead of focusing on the destination.

Once you start you'll find your life full of "passion."
